Solar-Fabrik steps up French business New SF Incell module range allows the Solar-Fabrik group to respond to rapidly increasing demand for roof-integrated modules in solar installations.
Freiburg, 2nd February 2009. From its headquarters in Freiburg, Solar-Fabrik AG is strengthening its market position in France with the introduction of a new model range.
The SF Incell module range, which has been specially developed for the performance optimisation of integrated photovoltaic installations, now represents a solid foundation for Solar-Fabrik to implement clear and sustainable expansion in the fast-growing French solar market. As feed-in tariffs for solar energy from roof-integrated installations are particularly favourable in France, past expansion rates have already shown clear growth. Projections support the belief that this development will continue to drive forward. The market introduction of the SF Incell module range is therefore of great importance for Solar-Fabrik AG.
“Our new SF Incell module range is optimally tuned to the requirements of the French market,” states Karl-Heinz Dernbecher, Sales Manager of Solar-Fabrik AG. “The roof-integrated modules can be attractively incorporated into the roof architecture, are quick and easy to install and guarantee maximum electricity yields.”
Reliably watertight thanks to patented frame system
The tried and tested SOLRIF® frame system from Swiss manufacturer Schweizer also comes into play with SF Incell. The system is particularly characterised by its reliability, and Schweizer supplies a 10 year warranty for operational capability and water-tightness.
Excellent integration into roof architecture
SF Incell allows solar energy installations to be harmoniously integrated into the roof, something that French architects and house owners consider particularly important. The modules can be used with a roof pitch of up to 10 degrees, which enables them to also be used in the flat roofs that are especially typical in southern France. Simple, rapid installation saves both time and money at the assembly stage.
High electricity yields
As with all Solar-Fabrik modules, the new SF Incell range will be produced using state-of-the-art manufacturing technology. This guarantees maximum efficiency for electricity generation and extreme longevity. Solar-Fabrik AG provides a 25 year performance guarantee. The modules, available in two sizes, are certified according to EN IEC 61215 (ed. 2). CSTB certification, all important for the French market, is pending.
Excellent market prospects
Feed-in tariffs for energy from integrated photovoltaic installations are particularly favourable in France. Roof-integrated installations therefore make up the vast majority of the market share.
France has long held Solar-Fabrik products in high regard. “We have continued to consistently develop our distribution structure which means that the new Incell modules will now enable our market share in France to expand considerably,” emphasised Sales Manager Karl-Heinz Dernbecher.
As a consequence of this business strategy, Solar-Fabrik has already concluded framework agreements in France amounting to over 10 megawatts for the coming year.
